Here's the situation. I was banned recently from another site. I was told that if I make another account, if they discover it, it will be deleted. This was an account that I set up from my work computer, and got banned from my work computer. So, naturally I went home and set up another account. They obviously don't know it's me, because it's on a different computer. My question is this: Would it be safe for me to access the new account from my computer at work? Or are they able to tell what IP is accessing the account, and delete my stuff again?
If they read the ip, you are caught, we watch the same stuff here. we have a questions forum, I will move this to it.
if you post from your work computer, They can look up the IP and see they match and then have a case against you. but just viewing you would be safe. also.. Stop being a troublemaker.
I can't help it There's a public forum and a private forum on that site, do you think if I stay away from the public forum, I'd be safe?
Actually, I didn't offend anybody. All I did was create a second account. Apparently that's a no-no. They found out, and nabbed me.
So, the public forum is out of the question, and like I said, there's private forum for each group or "camp" of people. I don't know if mods can access the individual camp forums. How about PMs? Can they catch me sending PMs?
Best thing to do is be a great member where ever you are, so you don't get banned. You could contact them and ask for forgiveness, and see how that goes.
Although being a good member doesn't always mean you will not be banned. I am living proof. It happened on the that site who's name I do not speak anymore.
