LANDOVER, MD - Just hours after Bruce Allen announced that he was stepping down as General Manager for the Washington Redskins due to health related concerns, the team has moved quickly to sign his replacement.

Seasoned GM Blake Sebo will slide into the role effective this evening, according to numerous sources. Sebo is well respected in GM circles for his ability to build teams that consistently reach the top four of the league. It must be noted, however, that he has yet to take a team over the hump.

Ashburn, VA and Redskins Park is quiet this evening, and it is expected to stay that way. Sebo is not considered a flashy name and is not one for media appearances or press conferences. We have learned that he has scheduled meeting for the next week with coaches Mike and Kyle Shannahan and Jim Haslett to access whether or not their vision of the future is the right one for the Redskins. At this time, it is expected that no major coaching moves will be made.
