The Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders, who will meet Sunday at Dolphin Stadium in a Week 11 tussle, both entered the 2008 season looking to rise from the NFL abyss.
One has done just that, while the other seems to have found a new sub-floor beneath rock-bottom.
Miami has been one of the great stories in the league this season, as a team that was a league-worst and franchise-worst 1-15 in 2007 has become a surprise contender in its first year under head coach Tony Sparano.

Part of me almost feels sorry for the Raiders, BUT then I remember how the Raiders ended Miami's Superbowl Dynasty after the 1973 season when Kenny Stabler threw a crappy pass that beat us in the playoffs.
I cried like a 7 year old (well I was an 7 year old ) and this is one of the reasons I can never like the Raiders.
Puka-head and calphin like this.

No part of me feels sorry for the raiders.
However, thats only because of how badly they embarrassed us last year

I can't stand the Faders. I think Al Davis is the worst owner in the NFL, and a crusty old man. The sooner he retires the happier I will be.
I hated it when they blew us out in the play offs and gave our first and only goose egg in our play off history. I think Feidler was the QB at the time. :tantrum:
