Rams Jackson Holds Out

Rams running back Steven Jackson has said this off-season that he wants a contract extension, and as of this afternoon he officially became a training camp holdout.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Jackson’s agent, Eugene Parker, engaged in late-night negotiations with the team in an effort to finish up a contract extension, but so far they have not reached a deal.

I haven't heard about this. What kind of deal is he looking for (its not in the article)?

Not sure. My guess is around 50-60 million over five to six years.

Ah I see. Jackson is one of the top 5 RBs in the league so he to me is worth being one of the better paid RBs in the league.
