Random thoughts: -Henne played great, almost 500 yards total, being a leader and most importantly in control, he does not deserve any **** this week. -Defense on the other hand were the complete opposite. Not much pressure and horrendous secondary. -Carrol and Sapp, I want CUT NOW, embarrassing performance. -Why did we cut Polite, I'm still confused? We could have used him during 4th and goal. -I swear to God I heard Jaws say **** during the second half. -Penalties hurt us. So many holding calls on us. -Is it legal for a tackle to pin a pass rusher to the ground like it's WWE? -Fasano did well -WR's did good as well. -No running game at all, except for Henne. -O-line wasn't very good. -Defense looked gassed, all night while Brady did no-huddle Final thought: Defense lost this one mostly, it seems our problems reversed Henne played great and the defense played bad.
That's what I meant. I still post here, like I do at another forum where they don't censor that word.
I can't argue with your summation of the game. It is right on. The only thing I would add is my disappointment in Burnett. He was signed to replace Crowder because Crowder was weak in covering TE'S. Tonight Burnett didn't show me anything to make me believe he is an upgrade at the LB position. In fact I think he is much weaker against the run than Crowder was. This was only one game and perhaps he will be more effective as the season goes along, but if tonight is any indication. It appears Ireland once again might have signed a high priced free agent who will turn out to be a bust.
