Is a punk.
He's always been a punk. Seems that 2007 & 2008 were aberrations. He totally dogged it yesterday. Hopefully these quotes by the Panthers will not light a fire under him. Hopefully, these quotes are just the truth:
“He gives up a lot,” Carolina cornerback Chris Gamble said, according to the Charlotte Observer. “We knew he’d shut it down a little bit.”
“You can tell with his body language, that he’s not going deep, he’s not going to run a route,” said Gamble, according to the Observer. “I know everybody who plays against him can sense that. If you can get ‘in’ him in the beginning of the game, that’s what’s going to happen.”

Wow. How long before the pats just quit on him? I say bench his butt and put in someone who wants the job. They're in the play-off picture, and you have a guy acting like that. Unbelievable.
-
Then for our sake let's hope they continue to start him so he can continue to quit on the team. They have to lose one more game and have to win out and the division is ours again for the taking.

I've always liked TO better between the two. He may be a talker, but at least TO tries harder than Moss. He's so talented Moss, its a shame he's going to waste it with a bad attitude. At least he draws defenders away from Welker, like Shaq did for Wade during the Heat 'ship run.
-
Bull****. Moss played the same as he always has. If he was "dogging" it, why did the Panthers play so much safety help over the top?

Moss is Moss. This should be a non-story IMO. He's been known for being taken out of games when you beat him up at the line. Been doing this for years and the media still blows it up.
Re: help over the top - I don't care what cornerback you are, you need help over the top against Randy Moss whether he's half-assing it or not. In one play, he can change the game around. -
I have seen him just pull his arms into his body and not even try for a catchable ball. Old Moss is new again. I was wondering how long it would take for him to show up.
-
Chris Carter actually called him out on Mike & Mike this morning. Carter doesn't know the reason for the change in him, but he said it was clear to him that he wasn't giving 100% effort. They were speculating that this had to do with the fines and Adalius Thomas's surprise deactivation yesterday.
Can't say I'm disappointed to hear the Pats may be melting down. I just wish they would have dropped yesterday's game in the process.late again likes this. -
