• Randy Starks, given a five-year, $21 million contract, said the Dolphins have moved him from defensive tackle (his position with the Titans) to mostly defensive end, where nobody would be surprised if he beats out Matt Roth.
• Aware of Miami's questionable depth at receiver, agents of several veteran free agents have called the Dolphins. But Miami hasn't pursued Chris Henry and Koren Robinson (who both have a history of legal problems), Eric Moulds and Tim Dwight, among others, their reps said. That leaves, for now, Tab Perry, David Kircus, Greg Camarillo and several undrafted receivers competing behind Ted Ginn Jr., Ernest Wilford and Derek Hagan.
