Ignorance is bliss I know.......but personally I'd rather call a spade a spade.

This isn't a Pro Ginn thread...........it's a bait thread. A chance to call out Ginn bashers. And it's just as useless as a "Ginn Sucks" thread.

The OP could have just as easily posted these thoughts in one of the many Ginn threads already available.

But that's just my opinion, and as you said, I'm entitled to it.

wow this is a whole new low and quite offensive
you just compared fans who have disapproval for ginn to how hitler treated the jews.
i had to step back for a minute because I cant at all believe what i am reading
that might just might be the most ridiculous thing i have ever read in the history of the internet
ted ginn is a football player and we are fans of the team he plays for.
if we want to gripe about him it is our right as fans but just because i dislike ginns production doesnt ever ever call for me or anyone else to be compared to the worlds largest mass murderer
you do understand that that hitler murdered six million jews right
all we are doing is criticizing a football player for dropping balls and not making plays
    that doesnt make us evil
we are just voicing an opinion
your post was insensitive overbearing and flat out insulting
    thanks a bunch

Didn't Ginn help us make the playoffs last season? I seem to remember people were still talking **** about him then. Please let me know if I'm wrong. I clearly remember hearing the same comments. Yeah, he has had a few drops this season and tends to disappear in games. Maybe Henne and Ginn need more time to develop though? Maybe Ginn has been doubled more this season because of his impact last season. Maybe he just hasn't been open and Henne looks to other receivers? I just can't believe how much negativity is directed at ONE player, as if he is personally responsible for where the team is sitting at 7-7. I have seen the same comments made over and over again. "Alligator arms, looks for the sidelines, afraid to get hit, etc" How many times do these comments need to be made? You aren't making any original observations. Now, all the Ginn bashers are going to come back and say "How many times can you defend him?" The answer is.....as many times as it takes before the negativity starts to subside. There is no room for that amount of negativity directed at one player. Period.

You guys are borderlne pathetic, Im guessing i will be in trouble for saying that but to suggest I started this to "bait" people is flat out stupid.

You guys never ceast to amaze me, I try to be positive about a play one of our Phins make and to have this thrown in my face? Some of your a joke.

Sorry FFIC and the crew but the fact I was accused of "baiting" the Ginn haters is a fu-kin joke.

    *sigh*

Another day, another Ted Ginn thread.

I rewatched the Dolphins v Titans game and Ginn's returns were not shown, though they were not very good from what I recall.

However I did see Ginn make a splendid catch over the middle, in traffic, on a Henne laser beam, and I also witnessed, witnessed mind you, Ginn throw an effective block on a Wr screen.

Read the facts bro, be nuetral and you will see the issues if not, thats your problem I guess. Thought this site had more logical people. Some people insist on dissing Ginn when there are other platforms to do so, but cant stand it SO much when I post somethinig good..they come crying.

Get a life folks get over Ted Ginn.

By the way the facts are all over the thread feel free to read them.

Dude, I stopped caring what other people thought a long time ago, if Ginn plays poorly he deserves to be called out for it, if he plays well he should be given credit for it.

His slippage in the return game has been disappointing, but his Wr play has picked up, which is one of his problems, Ginn never..quite..puts..it..all..together.

    For any period of time.

I jumped off the run Teddy out of town bandwagon when he got up off is back at around the 50, beat Sharper to the end zone and slapped it free at the 3 yard line. He didn’t get the call but you can't question the effort. That was good enough for me.

He was the difference in both Jet games this year and if he wasn’t a 1st round pick, his 1600 yards and 20 points/year would be seen as a contribution and not a hindrance.

The problem with Ginn is his consistency, or lack thereof, he cannot be bumped down to #3 as Greg C or Bess fill that roll, he isn't a #1 Wr, and Hartline looks like a rock solid #2 Wr.

    Greg C v Ted Ginn?

I'd take Greg C 90% of the time.

Seriously though fellas we all need to agree to disagree here because this place shouldn't boil down to "Us" vs "Them". Let's not reduce otherwise good relationships to petty name calling.

Agreed. Camarillo is back and separating himself from the rest of the group as he should. Except maybe Hartline, lucky catches, big catches, whatever it takes, this kid is a good football player with speed. If only Bess didn’t lay it on the ground so much.

With all that. Defenses have to game plan for the guy who beat Revis deep.

I don;t want to disrespect the original poster, because he is entirely entitled to his opinion of Ted Ginn. If he is excited about him, more power to him. I wish I could be in that mindset too, but Ted Ginn's absurd displays of fear on the field have turned me off him entirely.

If we are talking about his occasionally great play, I would say you don;t win championships by occasionally playing great.

But the real problem is Ted Ginn is a coward on the football field. And Ginn's cowardice disgusts me. It's a disgrace not only to the Dolphins uniform but to the NFL logo and the old greats who bled to build its legacy.

Ted Ginn doesn't belong on a football field with his level of cowardice. I don;t give a crap about his talent anymore because his lack of balls has rendered his talent almost totally useless.

p.s. - I used to LOVE Ted Ginn. Ask Gish. I was part of the Ted Ginn mafia. But I'm so far off the bandwagon I'd gladly see Ginn traded for a 5th round pick at this point, so long as we get someone else who can stretch a defense.

Guys Im far from excited about ted Ginn, im dissapointed as hell! But at this point he is NOT a #1 WR he is basically a #4 guy with return skills...most of us agree on this so why bash your #4 WR?

If we all have truely accepted the fact he is not a good WR then why does he merit so much attention?

I dont remember Brandon London being blamed for any losses last year.

In all fairness to London, he was a special teams player that made tackles and put his head into piles, he wasn't looked at the be a WR, he was a project.

And he ended up being cut because he could not get on the field as a WR.

Ginn was a top pick that should be doing way better, not a # 4 WR

And in all fairness, his kickoff returns were embarrassing last week, I don't know what it is with him, but mentally, he just does not have it.

I had high hopes even though I did not like the pick, than I thought after a year maybe he can become a Joey Gallaway type, now I'm not sure he will be a Brian Hartline type player.

He is truly mindbogglingly as a player.

I think the best thing for Ted Ginn would be to start fresh on another team, I just think he has ran out of time with the powers that be for the Fins.

    ginn >> london

london got cut and wasnt picked up by anyone. i severly doubt ginn wouldnt be picked up by anyone if he was cut right now. hes a great returner i have said it all along. but i refuse to believe he is even a average WR.

GinnJr. seems to be a very nice guy
he is very fast, w/ a high draft choice & cost a lot of money
I have seen him run back several touchdowns
& catch a number of passes

now that is as good a spin as I can put on it  it is what it is, nothing more

If the refs weren't all paid off, biased and/or full of chit......Ginn would have 5 or 6? kickoff returns for touchdowns right now. Instead, he has 2. At least 3 got called back because of bullchit holds that had nothing to do with the returns.

While I wouldnt say the refs were "paid off" he would a have a few more notches on his belt as far as KR's go.

Also the dreadful no call on the obvious fumble vs the Saints....

I have thought our ST blocking has been a joke all year for Ginn, Bess, Cobbs whoever.

Ugh!!! can someone help me understand this ?
First it's Chad Pennington's fault Ginn isn't producing due to his weak arm
Next it's Chad Henne's fault for having a laser arm and can't hit Ginn in stride
so now it;s the ref's fault Ginn hasn't scored more Td's.
So here is my question when is anything Ginn's fault ?

Not a big fan of Ginns...he's Chris Chambers all over again only worse  I don't really see much upside in someone that has played scared for the last two years and hasn't even had a big hit yet. I can only imagine how bad things would get if he ever actually did get hit.

Yes Revis had the man under, and the Safety over the top failed to cover...

How many times have we seen Wilson do that same mistake over and over again, letting VD or Smith take the heat for the coverage...

Now, I am not here to bash Ginn, he is a player with a lot of talent and skills, just seems that fortitude is not one of the intangibles that he carries...

What I will say about Henne is that when he does miss even by a little, its just as bad as a guy with a lesser arm missing by more for a receiver.

A few times he has thrown a ball to Ginn where he had to adjust up/back and couldnt catch it in stride. I really don't put those on Ginn, its an extremely tough catch.

By my honest count he's only "dropped" 3-4 ones I believe he should have caught for sure.

It's sad that a "good" game for Ginn is one in which he fumbles yet another return - untouched - and goes down before contact on others, to mitigate the good that he does.

At this point I don't even want him on returns; just let him "run-Teddy-run" 10 routes a game and see if he can manage to hold onto a couple.
