Looks like a pretty good draft from my end with considerable depth at the key positions.

By the way how many are in your league?

    QB-Brees - great upside, risky downside - B
    WR-Edwards - Money in the bank - A+
    WR-Roy Williams - Good for a #2, but he's no Moss - B+
RB-LT - Gut instinct tells me to stay away from LT this year - C+
    RB-Michael Turner - No passing game = run run run - B
    TE-Jason Witten - Money in the bank - A+
K-Rob Bironas - Could be a big scorer with that putrid offense - A-
    WR/RB Flex

    Bench
Berrian - He should get a lot of looks for the money he got - B+
Chester Taylor - Excellent sideline vulture - B
Jonathan Stewart - Good as a wish, thats all - C-
David Garrard - You may need him more than you think if Brees relives 2007 - B
Felix Jones - He'll be good for random bursts of points, but not consistent - C-
    Alge Crumpler - Dud - D-
Ricky Williams - Not to be relied on, but risk VS reward could pay off - C+
Craig Daivs - I'd be interested to see who else was on the board when you took him - C-

    Defense
    EJ Henderson
    Ernie Sims
    Revis
    Landry
    Boley
    Thorton.

    Overall - B-

I cant rate your IDPs because I dont know the settings of your league. But if tackles and passes defended are worth a lot, youre golden.

EDIT: Don't take my knock on LT personally.

Thanks man for the rate. I was deciding on LT or AD at number 2 so I went the safe route. I didn't want Felix Jones. I was AFK for 6 mins and it picked him :( I picked Crumpler because he might be VY's favorite target.

Might be risky having both LT and Brees on same team.If one goes down it will hurt the other too, not to mention bye weeks.I also wonder about Turner. He's probally a committee guy.But overall, not bad, never really know what you got until mid season.

    who went #1? Brady?

Crumpler is good in theory. But look for him to replicate McMichael's numbers from last year with the Rams.

In a 10 team league, that's good enough to contend for a championship. Nicely done! You've got plenty of depth at RB, and some guys with real upside. Love the Stewart pick; he could put up big numbers by midseason. Although none of your backup RBs is a starter right now, you've got enough talent there that SOMEONE should be good enough for you.

Not nuts about the Crumpler pick, I think he's done. And honestly, why invest in a backup TE before very late when you've got Witten? It's not like you're going to sit him unless he's on a bye. I also think Berrian and Davis are a bit weak as backup receivers, but those are small complaints.

Thanks guys and yes Brady went 1.

Crumpler is more of a just incase. I will only sit Witten when he is on a bye so its no biggie. I try to do 12 man leagues but most of them leagues were 14-18 man leagues.

In my other leagues RB Core is weak because I had the 9th and 8th pick.

you should have thought of that before you went around abusing the Yahoo! 4 league maximum policy. I'm reporting you. I hope you didn't think you were going to get away with it. I just happen to be close friends with Brandon Funston. One email, and you're off to Singapore to rot in prison. Never mess with BFun; he'll eat your lunch.

dude, how can you give LT a C+, regardless of where and when he is drafted? i mean cmon, he's one of the best football players this decade, and he's still young, NEVER injured, runs behind a great line and an ever improving offense, with an offensive minded coach...and that stud back-up(Turner) who took carries away once in a while is gone! your gut must be telling you (freak accident), and still, i cant see how you justify a C+?

I like it alot. Word of advice on defensive players: find CB's who return kicks also. Cheap touchdowns and if your league counts return yards :)

I drafted AP last year, and traded him midseason for LT. I expect good things from AP and that amazing o-line, but I'll be shocked if he starts all 16 games this year. the guy is simply a bit of a bleeder.

  31. phunwin

I was in a Yahoo! league a few years back where they counted return yards as much as rushing and receiving yards! I had a team of all return men and only lost something like 1 or 2 games all year. Major glitch in the system there.

because my gut instincts win me championships. If I get a bad vibe from a player, for whatever reason, he will not be on my team, no matter who he is. For me, it's easy to separate fantasy football from the real NFL. Just because a player is great, doesn't mean he is the best fantasy option. With LT, Turner is gone, but they brought in Jacob Hester, and still have Darren Sproles. Thats a wash. Look at it in terms of peak performance. LT has been at or near the top for a while now, the law of averages has a way of ending things real quick. One minute you're on top, next you're not, it's that simple.

I gave Roy a B+. How is that unfair? My comparision to Moss was simply to emphasize that Roy isn't the top dog in the NFL, which is strike one. Then he is one the Lions, strike two. I stand at a B+, which may be generous. Too many other greater WRs. But I'd still take Roy if he were there at the right spot.

Jonathon Stewart will do no better than Marshawn Lynch of last year. And Lynch only showed flashes of greatness, but never actual greatness. I dont know about you, but I expect greatness from my RBs.

Bingo. Its a beautiful thing when all the top wr's/backs/d players are gone to snatch those guys right up and people assume you put it on autodraft and left :)
