From scale 1 to 10 rate each position of our O-Line please!


LT - Vernon Carey-7

LG - Chris Liwienski / Corey Lekkerkerker-4.5

C - Samson Satele-7.5

RG - Rex Hadnot-7

RT - L.J. Shelton-5.5

 

Carey...7 at LT a 8.5 at RT.

Liwienski a 4 as a back up a 2 as a starter.

Satele a 6 as a rookie.

Hadnot a 6 as a player should be a 8 as aback up.

Shelton a 5 as a RT. hes a def. bust.

 

LT - Vernon Carey -7.5.

Above average but not elite. This is his first full year as LT so I can give him a pass. I can only hope for improvement next season with a year under his belt. Struggled a bit with fast pass rushers but fared well in run blocking.

LG - Chris Liwienski / Cory Lekkerkerker -6/4.5

Liwienski was a serviceable starter who did his best to compensate being between two younger, less experienced guys on both sides of him. I like him but if we can upgrade, I'd go that way. Lekkerkerker is a backup period.

C - Samson Satele -7.5

1st year went well for him and though he made a few rookie mistakes, I'm sure with more time under Houck's guidance, he'll be a Pro Bowl caliber C in no time. Showed a lot of aggressiveness but will need to work on line calls in the future. He's a good line-caller for now but he needs to get better to get to the next level.

RG - Rex Hadnot - 7

Good run blocker but could use work in the passing game. Especially with picking up inside blitzers and more mobile interior linemen. But I think he should be resigned and he'd make a good RG.

RT - L.J. Shelton -6

See Hadnot but replace interior blitzers with outside blitzers. Not worth his salary.

exactly....unfortunately no talent really besides 2. :( go figure...

 

Well, our Oline has went from "accessory to aggraveted assault and battery of a high and serious nature" to "Inflicting Grevious bodily injury while lacking malice aforethought..."

They are not a good unit folks, they are "Fair" at run blocking, poor at pass pro, need at least 2 new starters and Ocho Cinco ain't one of them....

 

LT- 8 all LT's get beat sometimes:lol:
LG- 3
C- 6 nice pickup:ffic:
RG- 4 too many mistakes...wants a big deal? NOT:confused2:
RT- 4 should be a 8 ... not a #1:sad:
All in all they started off good and lost momentun

 

Carey-6.5 maybe an 8.5 as a RT
Lewinski-6
Satele-7 and will get better
Hadnot-7
Shelton-6

Good leader and did what was asked from him.
