DE- Brandon Lang, Troy/San Diego Chargers
Lang is a very athletic Defensive End who played for the Troy Trojans. His speed are what NFL teams look for in a Defensive End. The one skill that he does lack is ideal strength at the NFL level. Look for Lang to follow in the footsteps of Osi Umenyiora and DeMarcus Ware as successful Troy players in recent times.
DT- Nate Collins, Nevada/New York Giants
One of the most underrated Defensive Tackles in the nation, Collins was second in the NCAA , as a Defensive Tackle, in tackles overall to Ndamukong Suh. Collins was a good Defensive Tackle in both the pass and the run. The only things teams do not like about him is his small frame and short height.
DT- Vince Oghobaase, Duke/Miami Dolphins
The 4-year starter out of Duke, Oghobaase was well known by most as a dominant Defensive Tackle in the ACC. Oghobaase, is in interior lineman with great height (6-5) and good weight (300 lbs). The one thing that teams worry about is his health because of his injuries in the past.
DE- Lindsey Witten, Connecticut/Pittsburgh Steelers
An under the radar prospect, Witten, is a player with good speed and quickness. He
had a superb senior year with 11.5 sacks. Witten has fast feet and has the quickness to make it as a solid Defensive End at the next level. Witten does lack strength that an NFL Defensive End should have.
OLB- Kyle Bosworth, UCLA/Jacksonville Jaguars
Known for his intensity on the Bruins Linebacker core, Bosworth, has shown the Jaguars that it’s not always about how much skill you have, it’s about how much effort you put in each play. Bosworth has shown teams that he will give 100% effort on each play even though he does lack athleticism that will make him an elite player in the NFL.
MLB- Mike McLaughlin, Boston College/Baltimore Ravens
Although his production was down from previous years, Mike McLaughlin does have the skills to play at the next level. McLaughlin has the leadership and has the speed to be a good special teams player and a decent Linebacker at the next level. Without the experience of fully playing in his senior year, McLaughlin was not looked at that much by NFL teams.
