Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti says the team has had "open dialogue" about a contract extension with Ray Lewis. Bisciotti indicated that if Lewis, who's in the last year of his deal, makes it to free agency in 2009, the Ravens will bid highly. "We know Ray's value more than the other teams," he said. Lewis is due $6.5 million in 2008. Source: Baltimore Sun http://rotoworld.com/content/home_NFL.aspx
I was just about to post this, I just had cnp'ed it. Lol. Anywho, isn't he like 32 or something now? I hope the extension isn't longer than a couple years. I wonder who they plan on replacing him with in the future. Hopefully its one of the Miami boys....Arthur Brown,
I live near Baltimore and he might be getting old but he means so much to the community and he means so much to the team he is the thing that drives them more then any thing
