The more I watch videos of him and the more I vision change in our offense, the more I want this guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LddTmQNu4ug&annotation_id=annotation_83375&feature=iv WalterFootball projected him at a 4.43 40 time. He's got some of the best burst in a RB I have seen in a while, he runs over people, can run in between the guards and off tackle, and finishes every run. The only knocks I see on this guy is possibly receiving and the fact that he is only a sophomore now. Although, him being a sophomore would probably work in favor for us for the long term. Reminds me a lot like Ryan Mathews. I honestly would take this guy any day over any QB in the draft and over Mark Ingram, because I feel like he can really help open up this offense and help stretch the field. Plus, we need to get our run game going desperately.
And he brings break away speed to the table, when was the last time we had a solid back who could bust a 50+ yarder anytime? I know. 2002 R. Williams over Ingram
Did he get injured this year? http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/stats/_/id/259/virginia-tech-hokies
I think he had a hamstring injury. Rushed 4 times for 3 yards I believe against Stanford. I still want him.
