Not exactly the kind of win that makes you start making Super Bowl plans. But it illustrates the kind of team we are now.

Richard/Conficus' Keys column included two critical stats: the Dolphins are among the worst in the league in gaining yards per completion and also in giving up yards per completion. We saw it again today. As long as that is the case, we're not going to crush a lot of teams. Because we don't make many big-yardage plays, we have to convert a lot of third downs. Hard to do. Because we give up lots of big plays, we have a hard time holding leads. Again, we saw that today. We have a minor-league group of receivers, and not a lot of experience in the defensive backfield. (And the guys with experience aren't playing very well.)

But: Henne came up big at the end. There is hope for the future. Any word on Ronnie?

Also, I see once again there are a couple of threads on Ted Ginn, Jr. He had no catches today. He's pretty much a non-factor as a receiver. Maybe he'll break another return. Meantime, can we just stop talking about him so much? It's ridiculous.

thankfully the panthers don't have a beast TE. The big plays almost always come from the TE position against us. though we may make him look like one...
