http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9709432?GT1=39002 The Green Bay Packers haven't been sacked by the recession despite a rough season on the field and significant financial challenges off it, but officials remain wary of the future. The NFL's only publicly owned franchise turned a $20.1 million operating profit last year, according to team officials. That's down $19.4 million from the previous year, but the final budget numbers remain black, not red, and that's more than can be said for many businesses these days.
I wouldnt worry. The Green Bay Packers are one of the NFL's storied franchises. If somehow financially they become unsustainable, the NFL will bail them out.
Its the Packers...even tho losing Favre hurt them merchandise wise, its okay. Everything will go back to normal.
