I just finished reading (a soon to be) classic. Its titled "The Closing of the American Mind" by Allan Bloom. Its definitely a college level book, so if you've recently graduated from college it would be best, but even if your old and been out a while, like me, its still very enlightening. Its quite revealing about our society today, even though it first appeared in 1986. If any of you read it, or have read it, I'd be thrilled to know what you thought about it.
x2 quick synopsis? i like to read, but have a long list and it would be hard to add a book without knowing what it really is about.
I looked up the book on Amazon. I checked the editorial reviews and the book sounds pretty good. Here is the link of the synopsis: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/product-description/0671657151/ref=dp_proddesc_0/002-2202919-1873614?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books
