Reggie Wants To Hear “mvp” Chant

Reggie Bush says he plans to take part in the "majority" of New Orleans' voluntary pre-training camp workouts.

"It’s the right thing to do, to be here," Bush said. "I’m going to be here as much as possible. I won’t make every workout, but I’ll definitely be here for a majority of the workouts." Bush added that he's making football his No. 1 priority this year and has had to "cut a lot of people" out of his life.

that guy is a bust of all busts.....i love how everyone talks about ronnie being not worthy of #2 overall....he is 10 fold better RUNNING BACK then reggie bush....this aint the pac 10 anymore, and his numbers are proof

The chant should be

"Lets go Overhype"

get the crowd chanting MVP??? Wow... how about he starts with trying to be the MVP of a single GAME first... then worry about offensive player of the week... they maybe producing... then maybe, maybe he can think about being even close to league MVP material... Everyone said the Texans made a mistake going with Mario Williams... however looks like they were pretty darn smart to me.

Well not quite. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I was calling Reggie Bush out from day one.

I still think New Orleans blew it by not trading the rights to Reggie for the Jets 1st, 2nd and 5th round pick, which is what was reported to be on the table at the time.

Guess what, without any doubt McFadden is this years Reggie Bush:up:

I agree 100%. Its no wonder why he's fallen down so many mock drafts recently. If im running a team, I dont want a guy like Bush, or McFadden as my everydown back. I want a guy like ronnie brown. quick, fast, tough and powerful.

Reggie is probably the most overrated guy in the NFL. He should be paying back USC for taking money while a college athlete and getting perks like a new house for his parents. This guy is a total phony to me.

I wouldn't call him a bust as there were a number of "experts" that said before the draft that in the NFL he would have to bulk up because all he would be is a 3rd down, change of pace type back. I for one didn't expect him to be a #1 running back for any team in the NFL. I do feel as a change of pace back, he compliments Deuce perfectly.

he was the #2 overall pick.....the saints thanked god he fell to them...and those "experts" downgraded the texans heavily because they passed on him....

That qualifies perfectly for a bust imho

Sorry bro, nobody and I mean not even Matt Millen spends the #2 overall on a "Back-up" "Change of pace" back.

He was pimped to be Barry Sanders+.. Walter Payton with a vengence. He was overhyped, over publicized and now terribly overpaid.

exactly, they dont invite him to the draft and sell his jerseys off the shelf in record numbers because he is meant to be a change of pace back

I'll give him this season if he doesn't do anything else then I think bust will apply.

The only thing Reggie has ever done that warrants applause is Kim Kardashian. That being said shes probably a total biotch.

I'm not justifying where he was drafted or the money he was given. Adrian Peterson wasn't even drafted top 5. I'm just saying he split time in college with Lendale never looked like more than a return man/change of pace back. I'm not going by what he was hyped as because most of the "experts" are complete tools. I'm going by what I thought he was and think he is.

Look at Petersons size compared to Bush and McFadden. The biggest problem with Bush and possibly McFadden is that they arent big, strong or tough enough to be everydown backs in this league. They cant run through tacklers. Peterson is a tank and can plow through people (like Ronnie) and he also has that homerun speed so after he knocks you on your ass hes gone!

That's what I meant in my first post. Alot of people thought he needed to get bigger to be an everydown back in the NFL and he just hasn't gotten big enough. He has speed and agility but so does everyone in the NFL. Now if you have Deuce running down the defense and then put in Reggie, that's when he becomes effective. I never bought into the Reggie Bush hype and this is how I always envisioned him playing. I think this year and next year will be when he really needs to step up and prove himself.

Same here. I was one of them who thought the Texans made a great decision in passing on him for Mario.

I agree. McFadden will be nothing more than Reggie is imo.

I would take a healthy Ronnie over Bush anyday.

Kim Kardashian is a fine fine fine female. But being Reggie Bush, he could have gotten someone similar without the mileage Kardashian has. She has been around the way!
