Everything is speculation right now. Bullying is a bit harsh of a description to an alleged prank being pulled on Martin, who was the one heading that same prank on another teammate a week prior. Everything else is completley out of context and hearsay. the facts are Martin is a mountain of a MAN....he is paid millions of dollars to be a football player....and hes running home to mommy and daddy after a prank, and is now completely tarnishing another mans career and life with accusations of text messages with zero context, and hiding behind sources like a little *****, not giving out his own quotes.
If the Dolphins rally with all of this drama and being condemned by the media and the public it will be an amazing story. I'm looking forward to it.

It would certainly say a lot about Joe Philbin's progress as a head coach. To be able to keep this team together with all this going around would be some strong leadership....the kind I haven't really seen from him to this point.

I agree with a lot you said. But the part with his parents; I still believe that Jonathan is not doing everything the way he wants to do it. Of course one can blame him for that, but if he had a weak moment and was more or less persuaded to do these things, I can't blame him that much.
So,if I heard Philbin correctly , the Martin family never told him during their meetings there was any player misconduct. But the Martin reps made a statement Sunday reporting that there was indeed misconduct and proved it by the voice mails and Incognito was suspended from there.Why did they hold that from Philbin when he asked them personally?? I`m starting to smell a rat here. Do the Martins have something up there sleeves?
Yes...you can....this isnt some 17 year old senior in high school. This is a professional, college educated grown *** man. He makes his own decisions.
It's a good question as to why Martin refused to allege misconduct himself, but then when he got lawyered up suddenly they alleged misconduct.
@AbramsonPBP Dolphins players backed Richie Incognito. Many of them seemed upset that he is gone and they don't seem to think it was warranted. @AbramsonPBP Rookie CB Will Davis said rookies aren't forced to pay for veterans and can say no.

The number of victims is completely irrelevant. If it's established that Philbin was aware of any bullying, Goodell will bring the hammer down. It's the way "his" NFL works. If Martin's a puss, then a lot of people on this board calling him one are even bigger ones. According to the press the players are largely sticking up for Incognito. He wasn't voted onto the leadership council for nothing. The players like him and none of them seem to have seen anything that would indicate he was hazing anyone or going out of his way to make things hard on Jonathan Martin.
Makes me think more about that picture that someone tweeted you. Martin and Incognito were hanging out. They were not at a team function. If I hated someone or I felt like someone hated me, I would not be hanging out with them.

I know an awful lot of people in the work place who willfully socialize with people they hate and/or know they hate them. Thinking about it, my whole company's working like that

Oh but evidently people that are bullied constantly try and ingratiate themselves with their bully in a vain attempt to get them to stop bullying them, which only opens themselves up for more abuse. That, or he's a grown man and could've told Richie Incognito to STFU and get a life, any time he wanted.
