This post makes a lot of sense to me, especially the bolded! I can live with this opinion, but the overly dramatic bull crap is just that.... BULL CRAP.

Can we just get rid of Incognito already and move on?

While we're at it, cut Martin too.

Take the hits on the salaries and move on.

Sure it has bearing on it, I'm not defending the actions of Incognito or the organization, if they covered that up then by all means they get what's coming to them. But she took money to shut up about and thats ok? Well maybe the next woman Richie molests with a golf club can thank her for a nice payday.

I agree. And I'll bet my last dollar before this is all said and done we start hearing about some shenanigans in other NFL locker rooms too. It can't be long now before somebody raises their hand with all this going on and say, "Hey, I was being bullied too! Gimme some free treatment, time off and keep paying me." Whether it's more players or more staff members.

If it really is only the Dolphins where this type of crap is going on that will be horribly embarrassing. Then again, they do have a pretty embarrassing front office.

According to the police report, the woman initially went to dolphins security and was trying to be cool about the matter and all she wanted was an apology from Incognito.

Apparently Richie was unable to provide even that simple courtesy so Nat Moore had to apologize for him. It was then that she filed the report ostensibly because she didn't feel the org was taking it seriously enough. That's when the Fins stepped in and did whatever they did to make sure she didn't go to the State's Attorney Office

Again, have you ever heard a negative story about the Dolphins that you didn't just automatically except as gospel?

Her actions could easily be explained as way to extort money form the organization. Who knows what's true? I'd like us to wait till the investigation is over, you already have the entire organization convicted.

So much that has come out is shown to be bull****, but you guys keep believing EVERYTHING that comes out, with not an ounce of evidence to back any of it up.

I'm not sure how I feel about the golf incident, primarily because we have only heard one side of the story. While I'm sure Incognito was out of line to some degree, we don't know the context that surrounds the woman's claims.

So all those rape victims who filed lawsuits against their attacker and settled out of court, they're all just hussies looking for a nice payday?

There's absolutely nothing she should feel guilty about. She reported the incident to the authorities. There's nothing wrong with accepting recompense from someone who committed an offense against you. It does not signify that all is forgiven.

This isn't a negative media story. It's a public record police report filed long before anyone gave a crap about Richie Incognito.

I have no reason not to believe it. It has all the indicia of being true. She named Nat Moore specifically as someone who was aware of the incident and also claimed other witnesses who were not named by the police.

We then learned that there was some kind of settlement which included a confidentiality agreement.

The real question here is why you defend Incognito so much? Even if we assume that all the Martin stuff is untrue or overblown, his pattern of behavior is not becoming somebody on your leadership council or on your team.

This is espescially true when your coach preaches charachter and ran off a far more talented player than Incognito (Brandon Marshall) before ever even giving him a chance to prove himself under the coach's rules.

Incognito isn't even that good a player. If he were Alan Faneca in his prime or something I'd understand not wanting to lose that talent even if you have to put up with this nonsense. But he isn't that talented. He's a complete boor and also not that good. Get him off this team.

No I don't know that it's an Arab employee. I thought I made that clear when I said I'm merely reading between the lines (i.e. guessing). If it's a Japanese staffer that would make sense as well.

Look what Incognito did to that CHARITY Volunteer at the golf tourney.

Is he going to file another grievance against the Dolphins for being an annoying douche to people? If Don Shula was coach and heard any of this happened his @$$ would've been sent packing before this season even started.

But what more evidence is going to come out? The case settled out of court and there is no indication that the woman wants to, or even could bring criminal charges at this time. Both parties are probably bound by a confidentiality agreement.

We have the police report, which bears several signs of it being true, including the fact that Nat Moore was specifically named and apologized personally to the woman.

The report seems credible. Nothing has been revealed that would make me doubt it's credibility.

Exactly. One side has been heard therefore its true. Virtually no information is out about the bullying of Martin, but you act as if its true. Virtually no information has been given about the physical altercation but you act as if its true. Virtually no information has been given about this staffer but you act as if its true.

I've reached a point where I couldn't care less about this situation anymore. I'm sure the investigation will find things were taken too far and things were said that shouldn't have been said. A lot of this stuff would be found in every locker room if there was a league-wide investigation. Not saying it's right, but it is what it is.

When all is said and done, some will be fired, some will be fined, Incognito will be gone and the NFL will have educational meetings in all locker rooms to ensure the things that need to be done are done to prevent these things from happening in the future. Guidelines will be set.

In the end, it's a good learning experience for all involved. The mess will be cleaned up, the games will go on, the sun will come up and Fin D and I will still be sleeping together.

So when/if Richie comes out and says "this is not true, I never did that", then what?

Considering there will be no further information coming, we are left to asses the credibility of the parties involved.

On one hand you have a charity golf volunteer who claims harrasment, names Nat Moore ans being aware of the incident and apologizing, and then files a police report only after she didn't get the apology from Incognito that she wanted. We then also have evidence of a settlement/confidentiality agreement which indicates somebody paid money to keep the matter quiet.

On the other hand you have known miscreant Richie Incognito, who has been kicked off every other team he's played for since college, who it was also recently revealed has no problem running around shouting the n-word and leaving vulgar messages on people's voice mails.

Who is more credible to you?

Its actually funny, because recently a situation arose in a company I work with where someone that was very clearly not performing started accusing a superior or bullying and harassment. HR actually recommended not firing that person, because they could say they were fired simply for making the accusation. The person was actually fired, and there was no lawsuit, fortunately.

I don't know. For all either of us know, this lady has an even worse reputation then Ritchie.

Point being, you've yet to with hold judgement, in any bit of this from the golf charity to the bullying, until there's more info. That alone is more evidence of your bias then there's been evidence to any single allegation going on.

There is an actual NFL investigation going on btw, so chances are we'll have answers soon....why not wait till then before the pitchforks come out?

This is a big deal if true. Racial jokes are considered to be harassment under the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and therefore, illegal. Legal action can be taken against an organization when they do not take appropriate and immediate action to remedy the situation.

    http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/publications/fs-race.cfm

    Title VII Protections:

    Harassment

Harassment on the basis of race and/or color violates Title VII. Ethnic slurs, racial "jokes," offensive or derogatory comments, or other verbal or physical conduct based on an individual's race/color constitutes unlawful harassment if the conduct creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working environment, or interferes with the individual's work performance.

    Also past cases:
