Except that he would be using hundreds of millions of his own money if the bill passed.

 

Net worth does not equal liquidity. Ross most assuredly would need to go into debt to fund the stadium. Even if he could afford it cash, leverage is still a thing.

I think Stringer brought it up but NFL rules limit the amount of debt that teams can acquire.

Hands are tied and partisan politics is the least helpful thing right now.
