If he doesn't play we better have much better front 7 play . Last week for much of the game our LB's were exposed and if they made a play it was too many yards down the field . Jones made plays to offset that negative . No repeat of the DLine disappearance .
Definitely. Jones helped clean up against the run game .... albeit probably wouldn't have been that way that often had D-Jax not gotten hurt. The LB play left me very unsettled.
There is a chance we may see a little of Neville Hewitt at the safety/LB hybrid position; something he did very well at in 2012. If Hewitt ever sees the field as a Dolphin, other than ST's, it will probably be in this capacity, and, of course, necessity is the mother of invention. This kid has some serious athleticism I didn't see right away. I think he is one of these guys who just had a bad day on their pro day. He looks more like a 4.5 guy than 4.6 in the 40, and his other numbers were very good, 37 inch vertical. He had 136 tackles last year I believe. As long as he doesn't have to cover a Gronkesque TE he might be good in the box. Aikens is still looking like a wasted pick to me. I think this guy should have been given a two year redshirt before being expected to ever start a game. I still like the idea of Bowman taking free safety snaps and I wouldn't be opposed to Bobby McCain there either, although I'm not sure McCain has the durability for that role. Both of these guys have great hands and excellent tackling skills.
No, Thomas is out for a few more weeks. Mercedes Lewis is the starter. Not a real threat, but covering TE's this season looks to be the same weakness it was in years previous. Lewis can be dangerous in the red zone...
......kking Tannehill, man. I'll bet one of his sh***y throws did this. Save it, we already know your stance on this sort of thing. You'll probably just defend him while launching a barrage of personal attacks and meaningless statistics.
well not so fast, practice hasnĀ“t even started yet and it was posted by armando....beasley meanwhile posted this nugget
Well, TBF, I did open the curtains, the blinds and the shutters. Trimmed away the plants in front of the window and put up blinking sign with an arrow pointed at it.
Nope. Remember, I'm a hippie vegetarian. No one is clear cutting my rainforest. Picture sent, check your mailbox....
I hope Reshad takes it easy. If he can play then wonderful, but I don't want him rushing and having problems all season.
