I think this could be pretty entertaining if you are into the Resident Evil storyline from the games. Created by Capcom and they have the same voice actors for Leon Kennedy & Claire Redfield as they had in RE4 & RE:CV.
Some time ago after the first RE live action film was released I sent an email to Capcom showing my displeasure that the RE films didn't follow their plot(s). Someone responded explaining that they didn't have any control and it was all Sony. I'm pretty happy to see them go ahead with their own project, even if it is CGI.
December release date in the US supposedly but not confirmed.

I can definitely believe that. Especially after SM-3.
Let's see what they do with this.
