Ok, so I was just informed that I have been identified as a possible candidate for a job in Texas (through my current employer), and my boss wants a resume (to which, my resume from school does not apply). I didn't know if anyone had a base line resume I could use (or template) that I could use to assist me in making an up to date one for myself. Thanks.

His resume is pretty good. I landed a mid-level manager job at a respectable firm just by changing the name and address. If you spruce it up a bit the sky is the limit..

btw.. FYI.... most hiring managers can give a rats *** about your "objective" they all know its a canned line and ussaly bypass it, I would HIGHLY recommend changing that from a Objective to a Professional summary and put 4 to 6 bullet points of your strong skills. it will stand out more and actually make the interviewer want to talk to you. Remember you are 1 of X people when applying for the job. Make them want you.

oh... and FYI.... my jobs for the last 8 years have involved reading resumes, from Technical(6 years) Graphical (1 year) and Medical (Current) if you need someone to go over your resume send me it, and give me a Description of the job your going for. I have always "edited" The mor Resume and he has never missed geting hired.

    Thanks.

You're like a month and a half late, but the job was mine anyways it seems. It was a more a formality that I put in a resume, and I did end up going with a professional resume as you described though. Honestly, I cannot even understand why I needed a resume based on what I have been doing.
