Nope, the T-Pain version isn't out yet. The new Jimmy Buffet "Fins" song is on youtube though. It's not bad.

Ok, I've got it. The original (ONLY) Dolphins fight song is played when the offense scores a TD. For the extra point and field goals, Buffet's chorus is played...unless its a game winning field goal in the last seconds or OT, and in that case, the original (ONLY) fight song will be played. When the defense scores a TD, turnover or safety, T Pain's song is played.

That should keep everyone happy.

 

Wow...I can't think of anything that sounds worse than that T-Pain version of the Dolphins Fight Song.

And the Jimmy Buffet song isn't much better.

If I had to choose between the Buffet, T-Pain, or original, it would have to be the original hands down.

I like it. It keeps the lyrics, but has a great beat, and it will cheer the fans. Dont knock it guys. I think this version will sound great with 70K people singing it.

I don't hate T-Pain. I hate autotune. I do enjoy some of his songs, but this is just gawd awful. I am so glad that I am not going to any home games this year. I would be embarrassed to be sitting in the stands when that is played...despite the fact we scored.

 

So its just a sped up version of the fight song with autotune?

 

ok...after listening to old and new about 15 more times: I do like T-Pains breaks over the old school twang-banjo stuff. Overall, meh. But the breaks are an improvement.

 

Lord help me, but I don't think the TPain version is all that bad. I hate rap music with a passion and don't have the slightest idea what the heck autotune is, but it was better than I was expecting. It actually made me smile.

 

Autotune is the voice over tool that is used for people that can't sing. Hence...it auto tunes their voice and gives it that not so real electronic sound.

 

That's Perfect! It even has a dolphin in the video! LOL
