Anyone watch this show? I thought the premises was interesting and imo it takes a while to really take off but it has become a really interesting and entertaining show
I'm a week behind... can't decide if I like it or not. The main girl's (Charlie) acting is really bad. IMO Miles acting saves the show. I don't know what the ratings have been but I'd like to see a new show sustain for a few years. I got into the new Fox shows last year (Alcatraz and Terra Nova) but they didn't last and they seemed fairly decent.
i am not sure about the ratings but id assume NBC is more willing to stick with this show because of JJ Abrams and John Favreau are apart of the show. But thats one thing I hate about new shows, you get attached, like I did with Awake, and NBC or other networks cancel them without giving them a fair shot
yeah... they give em one year.. put them in an impossible timeslot (against MNF in the case of Terra Nova) and their ratings suck... and they wonder why.
It looks like a summer replacement in budget .There is a grain of interest in me at least.I suppose high budget series like Nova were too expensive to produce so this may work as a filler. Series like Prison Break were only meant to be a one season fill in but it gathered quite a following which lasted several seasons.
I don't even watch shows by the big 4 anymore (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox). I find that they try to appease to so many people for ratings that it turns the overall quality to crap. 24 and Lost were the last ones I watched.
Fringe on Fox has been good, but yeah instead of being a serial show, it became episodic, minus this season, which i hate. Again its all about the ratings and having people who don't watch every week, able to watch and not be lost.
Saw it. Then the mysterious scene with the iPods happened. I ****ing vomited in my mouth. ...all in all, not bad.
yeah that scene pissed me off... If the power goes back on, your phone does not go on, still need to charge it
heh... it's not supposed to be realistic.. i mean we could go on for days if we are drawing comparisons... Just roll with it... like an episode of Star Trek (Next Generation) where they used to include big words in the resolution to their problems... it's like a mechanic telling a woman what's wrong with her car... he just makes **** up as he goes along. Anyway... I'm still lukewarm... it has gotten better though the last couple of weeks as they work to develop the main story line of what exactly happened and why.
