[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5ON67d7hQY]YouTube - Righteous Kill -2008- Official Trailer HD - Pacino & De Niro[/ame] I dont know what to think of this one, the last movie they did together was Heat and that was a masterpiece but a movie like that comes around once in a lifetime.
These guys have had a few masterpieces in their time. I dont see this movie being a masterpiece, but hopefully it's very entertaining. Looking forward to it.
Anybody going to see this? The critics slammed in several reviews I saw. The general consensus has not been good. Rotten Tomatoes has it rated at 21% so far...
It came out today. Kind of surprised by the negative reviews. I didnt expect to be in the 80% but a 60-70 on RT would have been more in line with my thinking. Pretty sure I'll see it tonight, hopefully the critics are wrong.
I'm sure it will be solid, how can it not be? DeNiro is a badass and Pacino ain't too shabby himself! A friggin' serial killer cop-movie with them? How can that not be great?
Supposedly De Niro and Pacino got good reviews but it wasn't enough to save it for most critics. And also Spoiler The ending is predictable as hell. It was compared to 'Hide and Seek' by one critic
I'd say it was alright. Heat is easily one of my fav movies, and RK is def not on that level. It has it's moments but I think it was built up to be a lot better than it was.
Huge disappointment imo. The ending is so obvious I just dont understand the point of the movie. I went in with lower expectations due to the reviews and I still didnt like it very much.
i read a review that sums up what i though the movie was going to be...a second rate cop thriller, and based on the review it looks like it, im going to see burn after reading insted
