The alternative is throwing the whole team into the dumpster again and going through more years like 2019. And by the time you go through that process, you're no better off time wise than you would be by seeing if Tua can get it together and then cutting him when it was financially possible. Best to let the 25 year old QB and 40 year old HC see if they can do better over the next three years, IMO.
