    RIP
Sad day to be a Dolphin fan. He will always be remembered for his Super Bowl Punt attempt that didn't cost us a Championship.

Actually IMO the highlight of his career should be when he kicked the winning FG in the double overtime win of the upstart Dolphins over the Championship Chiefs in the playoffs. That was the beginning of the Glory years.

Good natured player who used to make ties for a living before playing in the NFL .RIP

I could have killed him when he threw the pass the Redskins return for a TD in the SB. Once the game was over and the Dolphins won, his pass attempt became one of the signature plays in Dolphin history and was actually quite hilarious to watch.
Of course it wouldn't have been so funny if the Dolphins ended up losing that SB.

He was really a great guy and I got a chance to meet him in the 1970's after his retirement when he was attempting to get into the business of manufacturing and selling ties.

Had he made the kick, the score likely would have been a fitting 17-0.

I think I have one of his ties somewhere. RIP Garo.

There was an espionage book written by an author called Trevanian titled "SHIBUMI". The definition he gave for that title was a perfection that was made more perfect by having a slight flaw meaaning true perfection doesnt exist in nature. GARO gave us Shibumi. He made that 72 machine more human
