Dolphins give permission for Vikings and Packers to speak to Rizzi :headwall:

I love Rizzi, and I'd love for him to stay, but if you gotta get the bag, than you gotta get the bag.
-
Good for Rizzi. I saw this coming & I dont blame him one bit.

No matter how good someone is at their job, it’s best for both parties for the employee to find another job if the employee is feeling unappreciated and disrespected.
NB not saying tbe Dolphins don’t appreciate or rspect Rizzi, it”s about perceived emotions, resnor likes this. -
Why are you acting like Rizzi should have just been gift wrapped the job?

IMO, he's using the interviews as leverage for a salary bump.... he's going to stay with us (if Flores want him, obviously).
Guy's been in Miami for, what, a decade? Don't think he's going to move on for another ST job.Surfs Up 99 likes this. -

You don't have to worry about him following Gase to NY. The Jets extended their current ST coach (who did a great job last season).

Players love him...so what? That in NO WAY means you are a good HC candidate.
He coached our special teams well...I appreciate that and he has talent in that field. Where is our overwhelming success he has provided us in other areas?
He was already the assistant HC and unless Gase told him to sit down and shut up, he should be sharing some of the blame for our failures. -

Pretty sure Rizzi will never be a HC and if he is, it's likely to burst into flames given his history.
Funny enough, though we think we had good ST units our ranks haven't even been that good. That might just be an illusion as well.
Again, as our assistant HC he should be sharing the same blame as Gase.
