Evidently, thieves no longer think a cowboy bandanna is fashionable enough to mask their identities.
Police are looking for two men who robbed a convenience store in Arvada, Colo., with women's thong underwear covering their noses, mouths and chins.
One sported a stunning blue mask and the other a very fetching green one. They stole a stash of cash and cigarettes, which one man stuffed into a pink backpack. The suspects were described by police as being in their 20s.
While stating that the two were charged with a serious crime, Police spokeswoman Susan Medina also noted that the robbers had made a relatively bad choice when it comes to robbery masks.
"There's a plethora of disguises out there: ski masks, character costumes," Medina said. "And, if you're going to wear underwear, certainly there are other kinds that would give you a little more coverage."
