I didn't expect game to be too close so didn't catch the start, just tuned in late 1st quarter while eating was surprised at the score. He has been tearing them up, 4th quarter and big 4th down coming up... and TCU converts.

Boise's chances look really good IMHO. they return something like 20 starters and UGA is down to backups at some positions. Personally, who cares if Boise runs the table? There will be some one loss team that keeps them out. Probably a SEC or B1G team.

RG3 put up PS3 type numbers, no dispute there, but will he have enough to do it all season, and in the biggest games?

If he stays healthy, I have no doubt he'll put up Heisman worthy numbers.

Baylor shouldn't be too bad either. Their schedule is weak until they play the big boys of the Big 12. Actually, they will probably start off 5-0.

What big boys do you see Baylor and RG3 having trouble with? TIA

Okie State is turrible on D. They gave up 34 points and 320 yards to Louisiana-Lafayette yesterday, which means they are the 48th best d by yards allowed. this game will be a shoot out at best.

TAMU & OU, they will probably be a major problem for Baylor on both sides of the ball. Both have good offense and OU is filthy on D. TAMU has a great DC in DeReuyter, and they will cause problems on d as well.

Glad to see you left the potential rotting carcass known as Texas off that list. I think that Griffin rolls like he did against TCU there

Baylor and Okie State should be a fun game to watch. A lot of points going to be scored that's for sure.

What Big 12 team isn't? The point is, Okie is very good at home against inferior competition. They can score at will as well.

Teams like Baylor rise pretty much every year. Very talented but flawed team that has trouble winning big games on the road. I could be wrong about them, but they reek of '08 Texas Tech...just not as good.

And yeah Texas is gonna have problems moving the ball with no QB.

Its not Okie State fellas its the cowboys or osu or oklahoma state.Oklahoma state isnt as bad on defense as some of you think , we held La Tech to 3 points in the 1 st half and it was Qb Weeden 's worst game ever plus the special teams gave up the points at least 2 td s the secondary is really good but the defensive line is having trouble getting to the qb.for some reason we cant seem to get the defensive ends and nt's that we once had.oh if you watch the next game pm me and let me know what you think of QB BRANDON WEEDEN, WR Justin Blackmon and rb Joseph Randle and on defense if you would evaluate Markell Martin and Dayton Lowe pleas let me know what you saw from them. thanks

If we don't get Barkley, this is our fallback option.

Seems like this will happen. I think it comes down to RG3 and Montee Ball. If Richardson gets it that would be a crime.

C'mon....we all know the Heisman is not meant for the best player in all of college football, but for the best player on the best team.....which for many screams Richardson and Alabama. I do agree that it would be absolutely criminal. Also, I believe Montee Ball is being set up for a Heisman run next year.

LMFAO stiffarmtrophy.com has Taylor Martinez listed as a candidate.

Not that I necessarily disagree with you, but Richardson has about the same yardage totals, a similar average, and an impressive amount of TDs in a tougher conference (while playing 1 less game). I would say he means more to his team than Ball does, even if only slighty.

Richardson accounts for 60% of their rushing yards, 12.8% of their receiving yards (and is the 2nd leading receiver on the team in yds and recs), 36.7% of their total offense, and 46.9% of their offensive TDs
Ball accounts for 57% of their rushing yards, 8.5% of their receiving yards (only the 4th leading receiver on the team in yds and recs), 33.2% of their total offense, and 48.7% of their offensive TDs (not counting his passing TD).

Also, Ball is playing with a SR QB who was generally regarded as one of the best in the country (maybe not top 10, but close) coming into this season, while Richardson is playing with a first-year starting Sophomore.

    While if I could vote I'd vote 1. RG3, 2. Ball, 3. Richardson, 4. Mathieu, 5a. Luck, 5b. Barkley, I don't think it'd be a crime if Richardson got it.
