glad to hear he wants to stay. His situation sucks though, no doubt there. All he can do is play football and let everything else take its course.
If the Dolphins want him they'll make him a fair offer. So far they've done that with every other player that they wanted to bring back. It's going to rest on Brown's shoulders to decide whether or not he thinks the offer is fair. The real problem is that another team may be willing to over pay Brown. So we'll eventually find out just how much he wants to be here.
He'll get a fair contract next year barring a lockout. Despite his injuries he has proven money when he's healthy, and the injuries don't seem to be related from what I've heard. More so just bad luck than anything. Lets just keep him away from any black cats or ladders and we'll be set.
the Tandem will be resigned @ FrontOffice convenience unless we pick up McFadden & there's not much chance in that... but it could happen
Perhaps if Ronnie could get in a full 16 games next year, plus playoffs, he'd get a nicer contract the following off season. I really like him as a player and a human being, want him to retire a Dolphin. He just needs some luck to stay healthy. Also 1,800+ yards combined rushing & receiving next season would be a big help!
love RB man.....he recently wrote this on his twitter account......I wonder what he means?? i got big suprise for the fans this upcoming season! i cant wait 7:43 PM Feb 9th from web
When it comes to a Famous person and twitter, you can never be too sure about who is actually out there posting.
the ones that are verified are.....Ocho is on there and post all day long, I mostly follow reporters with the help of my friend Padre....
I don't know if too many smart GMs would give RB a huge guaranteed contract. He has (his fault or not) been injury prone and has been splitting carries. IMO, most GMs give a huge contract to people like Michael Turner, who they think can be an every down back every game. I love Ronnie, but he has never shown that. I hope we keep him here and he finally stays healthy a whole season.
well, maybe thats his surprise to the fans..if he has to sign a new contract he takes a big paycut to stay and help get some more talent here.that or he's buying a jumbo cookie from the great american cookie company or he breaks 2000 yrds in the 6 games he does play..the biggest surprise would be him staying healthy a full season but thats alot to garuntee fans.
LOL! Ronnie's still the Beast of the AFC East... I have a feeling he'll stay healthy for awhile, don't know why I think that, maybe just hope!
