JeffNew MemberOPNo one will deny Brown is one of the real good people in the NFL, and his record had been pretty much spotless since joining the Dolphins as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
Yet, charged with a DUI in which the police report said his blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal level in the state of Georgia, Brown found himself struggling to cope.
“For me to have that whole experience, that was the tough part,” he said. “Then having to call my coach and everybody that’s associated and my parents and people that are associated with me to have to answer questions on my behalf my actions , that’s the tough part.”
