Thanks bro. It is the third year, imo, that a receiver finally puts it all together, and while the big jump for most positions is year one to two, for a receiver "I" believe it is year three.
I have no doubt Ted will be better this year thanks to the experience. However, I always heard it was entering their THIRD seasonthat receivers blossomed. Also, I woulnd't put wight in anything Mornhinweg says, given his track record in the NFL. Bpk
I'm glad that Ted Ginn is taking up the mantle of responsibility for the newbie Wr on the Dolphins, that shows character on his part. I think Wr "improve" in the second year when they have consistent Qb play, there is only so much a Wr can do, but he certainly cannot throw himself the ball in stride or 60 yds down the field..
Nothing at all against Ted Ginn, who is doing nothing but his absolute best, but what does it say about our receiving corps that the guy giving veteran leadership at the position is a 2nd year player who is still learning the game himself? And I agree with cnc, it's the 3rd year where things come together for a receiver historically. Although I would love to see Ginn buck that system and make it happen in his second.
Yeah it is a little scary but we only can hope Ginn breaks the usual curve. Question is will we have a QB who can get him the football? And will that QB have enough time to throw the ball w/o fear? Always comes back to the all important OL.
