Apparently someone told the Rooks what was up, 6:30 am..hours before they even would begin rook minicamp...nice.

Nice!!! The is a nice start.
-
way to make a good first impression
-
defense is gonna knock some heads off this year i can feel it
-
rookies can't make an impact on defense or so i was told leading up to the draft
we don't know yet obviously but why patch it with old talent
do it the right way develop new players. :up:Disnardo likes this. -
Class of 2010: Best class ever for D, hopefully.

i like that these young guys got in early and know we have a tight ship
sparano was blown away
it's refreshing news -
To me, we need a vet OLB who can contribute, play the Elephant, and show the youngin's how to run Nolan's system..ie..AD...
Wake:
We need some gray in some beards this year Killahp. -

Miami's incoming D is going to put the 1974 Steelers to shame.

-
Edds will play inside on 3rd down you won't see him at DE, DT or OLB man
4-3 over and under OLB's mirror in that nolan hybrid. expect misi to move around as an OLB. wake puts his hand on the ground in 4-3. unless he has improved on the edge. we are loaded up front. -

This doesn't speak to their intelligence. Hopefully the projector or dvd player or whatever was locked or something. If they can't figure out how to watch film, they might not be able to dissect Tom Brady either. Oh, and where the hell was Jared Odrick?
-
Remember Chad Henne bought some $10,000 system or something before the draft so he could watch the game tapes during the offseason? Can't find the article but it makes me believe this is hardly a Phillips DVD player.
As for this, I guess it's part of the reason the team was so keen on drafting Captains. Great work ethic. -
The kids were probably so excited, they couldn't sleep, came in early, cause it was better then sitting around the kitchen table starring at the walls.....
Well Folks, we threw the dice and got some top shelf college boys to fill needed positions. Now we will have to see what they can do on the next level.
But people should curb their enthusiasm and expectations a bit because the Zack Thomas's are rare and realistically the gang is going to need time to learn and develop their own skills.
"Age and treachery" does have it's advantages and our young guns will need enough time to figure out how to deal with it.
But considering the level of talent of the players they are taking over for, it shouldn't take long to be on that level. And that level surprisingly enough bid us as contenders.
These kids could end up being great but it is very rare to happen from day one. They will need to be in the thick of it to really understand and develop the skills that they will need to be great players.....and we shouldn't lose sight of that.
But we should be excited at the potential gems we've added to our team this off season......and considering what we did with last years rookies and released backups at best (exclu. JT)
we should be in the thick of it again.......and possibly scarry 2011....
and then theres the dream.....we picked up 3 - 4 Zack Thomas's............... ya right -
Never would have thought you are that short sighted Padre...develop players = Super Bowl trips...draft for what you need to take a minor step toward winning this year = Dave Wannstedt Draft Philosophy....also known as Jamar Fletcher...Eddie F-ing Moore...etc
-
Nolan has all the material to build with in 2010
need a veteran @ FS prior to the opening game
not so much  -
They really did it....Revampage of the entire freakin linebacking unit....lol, 5 NEW LINEBACKERS!!..4 new starters, plus depth...what a draft..
some of us were speaking consistently that we needed to walk away from the draft with 4 new linebackers, I did'nt think we would really do it.., hell we walked out with 5 including Dobbins, who I have replacing Crowder.
