Ross says Carl Peterson isn't coming, http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/fl-dolphins-notes-1117-20101117,0,4778299.story
Carl Peterson is in his 70's is he not? I doubt he's even looking to get back into GM'ing. Lets not forget that Peterson was a guy who hired Ireland in the first place.
Which is completely ignored by 99% of NFL media, they just like to gossip and not bother with facts, Peterson is 71 in what Tuna called "a young man's game" and since he trained Ireland in KC he would have little reason to fire him in Miami.
Now, either put the Jimmy Buffet fins to the left song to bed as well or start allowing loose joints to be passed around at gametime. I mean really, all these mixed messages, it's just confusing to the fans.
I just had a flashback to a Jethro Tull concert... All you had to do was stand there and breathe.... (1970's folks understand!)
I've always stayed out of the Peterson debate because I simply did not know enough on the situation. If you look at the surface it seems he's had some success actually. This bit of information is really interesting. If he in fact hired and trained the GM we have now then how really would anything change if he did come on board? I feel a little less threatened if he did ever get hired here.
Ian Anderson rocks. Nothing like some Aqualung: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqZmtq5LhFo or the flute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRo5whIbau4&feature=related Aqua is fitting I was a metal head my early life but Jethro Tull is classic in all generations
Well that's some comforting news, especially with all things of the last week and a half or so considered.
our owner has done nothing but try to help us become the best franchise we can, on many level's...people should show some damn respect for the man.. sell out after sell out, league leading position contracts, the intellect to show an understanding that our stadium is a huge disadvantage, and the power to want to do something about it..
