PFT reports that the Bengals couldn't find suitors for Rudi and will now be releasing him. It doesn't surprise me that they couldn't get anything for him.

Bet he ends up in Houston. They have no one capable of carrying the rock. I always felt Rudy was overrated, not explosive, not a power back, but he was fairly consistent. It would be a good place for him to end up in IMO. Short term answer their problems.

They are going into the season with Slaton pegged as the starter. If hes cheap enough they might pick him up as a veteran backup, but they are not looking for a starter atm.

Im kinda surprised they havent released Ahman Green as well. The guy is almost totally washed up.

Is Slaton really the starter? I've picked him up in close to six out of my seven leagues.

Yes, Green and Brown have been terrible so far. Slaton has outperformed everyone. He should be a good pickup for a fantasy team, I expect the Texans O to score pretty well, and the running game will do well under Alex Gibbs.

Not to mention, the Offensive Line has improved a lot.
