Looks like Jets are really done with Edwards, since apparently they now have to clear some more cap space in order to get Cromartie, which they're looking to do in trade?? Not sure how official that is, but it seems likely after not getting Nnamdi. Cardinals are supposedly looking at Edwards after signing Todd Heap. Love all these teams making big moves.....still waiting for a big Dolphin FA signing. Ty Warren to the Texans, Blaylock to the Falcons, J. Jones to Packers...
Yeah, after another 7-9 finish they said they'd be making exciting changes and all kinds of talk. But where's the action. They have cap room for at least 2 solid signings, and they could even try to restructure someone if they wanted for a 3rd. But anyone would be fine with 2. You shouldn't stand still when you can't get to .500, doesn't inspire much hope in the fan base. There's still time obviously, but if you keep waiting, other teams come in. Dolphins shouldn't feel like they can stand still.
You see Todd, SB dismisses those because they are not actual stats. He already took me to task, like some old schoolmarm talking to a young school boy, for suggesting they could be. Silly me, and I guess silly you too, for thinking the number of 20+ yd TD catches would be a stat.
The Rev needs to get out more if Todd's gf got him turned on, I've seen lots of midget girls cuter and sexier than that one. Sorry Todd, don't tell her when you two are snuggling tonight.
You lost me at schoolmarm. Not b/c I disagreed........ but just b/c I have no idea what it means. What'd I tell you about using ancient words that require googling in the middle of reading a post.
Well excuuuuuse me, Mr midget Connoisseur. Some of us have to take what we can get. Besides, I like my gf......... first girl I've dated where I have extra closet space to hang my clothes.
Feel like Stephen Ross is going to run this team right into the ground. Orove me wrong mister ross. you big nosed b!+ch
This is really asinine given Braylon Edwards hands. We're talking about a receiver who has a professional, veteran player once caught 43% of the passes thrown to him in a season and dropped 19 passes in a season.
It's his first career contract season, and even guys with as ****ty work ethic as Edwards can get it up if a contract is in play. And it's not as if his hands didn't suck in 2009, either. There aren't many players in the league who get as many snaps as Braylon Edwards and have as bad hands.
All things considered, I like him better than Hartline, feel free to disagree, but since Todd and I both debated with Stringer already on it, I've said all I care to say on the matter.
no one really here with espn insider i would really like to know if we are one of the 4 teams interested
thanks, so we are not even mentioned, i doubt we ever spoke to him know, which to me sucks, i would love to get this guy
Looking like possibly the Cardinals now. http://arizona.sbnation.com/arizona...-arizona-cardinals-kerry-rhodes-has-the-scoop
This should help Two members of Braylon's entourage were arrested last night for fighting with bar employees. And while authorities say he wasn't involved and they never even talked to him, Edwards offered this. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/08/01/braylon-edwards-has-another-brush-with-the-law/
The favorite liquor of the redneck mothers. According to good ol' Bobby Bare anyway. I'd like to find some of this over here, but not available where I live.
i´m not really drinking this high percentage stuff straight up, just don´t like it, but since i only drink sours, a whisky sour for example only with this great ingredient
That's another fine sippin' whiskey... If my memory serves me, that is! Although, when my friend and I slip off for a trip, we occasionally allow ourselves a wee dram, neat, by the campfire... are remember absent friends.
We need ELITE talent . Mind you we don't need excessive drama . However when compared to the top teams , we still lack elite playmakers .... I want to add at least one more prior to the start of the season , and I feel that should be a priority for this organization. Not any one , or one at any cost ( not just dollar cost ) but a playmaker that makes a differance for Miami.
We don't need elite talent, we need speed. Speed for a spread offense, we still could use a little more of it. Either Bess, Marshall, or Fasano must be replaced with more speed. Zach Miller would be ideal.
We disagree which is fine of course. We can more than live with Marshall and Bess for what hey provide imo . Marshall isn't slow when meshed with his other attribures , however Hartline to me , can be upgraded. He isn't awful , but to me he is a guy you are always looking to improve upon , at least from what he has shown so far and the role he is set to play. If he is our #2 wr then we are lacking compared to the premium teams. Fasano is a good player , but just that .... he has had good moments and bad ones , and compared to teamsd with TE's that make a huge impact in games ,we lack that elite production at that position , imo. Greg Olsen would have been a really really good receiving TE , and I think this is a position Miami pales in compared to many stronger teams. I also would LOVE to have an elite S , I think that would and does make a significant impact overall to the success of a team. Playmaker please!
It has nothing to do with being a good football player. It's like taking a basketball team and putting three great post up players with terrible shooters at the other two spots. There's no fit. Between Bess/Marshall/Fasano being on the field you have too many possession threats. One of those guys has to be swapped with a faster player, who doesn't necessarily have to be better he just has to present a new type of threat to the defense, specifically the safeties. I'll put it to you this way. I think Bess is a better player than Edwards, but I wouldn't mind having Edwards, moving Marshall to the slot and giving every other player room to operate.
