Being reported at Orangebloods.com that UT has a 10 year deal, for $12 mill per, with ESPN to distribute the Longhorn Network. This would be in addition to the Big 12 Network deal, rumored to be worth $17 million in 2011-12 and $20 million beginning in 2012-13. Just waiting for Regents approval.

That is a lot of $$ for an already rich program. Now lets see how that translates to w's and national championships.

Hopefully Greg Davis is not calling plays in 2011 so the Longhorns will be watchable.

I thought we were talking about the Vols.SEC fan.
I know I sound like Channing Crowder but I do know where Texas is.The money will help to keep the Texas program and keep the Big 12 viable as a conference.
They already have the best recruiting class by far for next year so there is a lot of momentum for the program.Maybe there will be a coaching change in the works.Longhorn alumni will not stand for mediocre results.
