His numbers are right where I hoped they would be. His actualy performance is even better when you consider how he has been clutch when it mattered. I'm still confused on what happened during the play where he fumbled. Does anyone know what went wrong on that play? Did he just not see the blitzer? No blockers to his blind side?

That's a really good article. I used to really dislike Schein, but as I listened to him more when he was on NFL radio, I started to like him some. As evidenced in his article, I think Philbin really won him over when he was on Schein's and Rich Gannon's weekly show last year. Philbin came across great with his matter of fact way with touches of his great dry humor.

I think if in the preseason anybody had offered a 5-3 record half way through the season most would have happily accepted it. That mark seems well in reach. Heck at this point it might even be a let-down. I think the second half of the season could comfortably end up 6-2. I can't imagine there would be many who wouldn't have taken an 11-5 record.

His combined quarterback rating over the three games played so far is 94, which was also his rating in the Falcons game. Face it. He's a good quarterback.

Adam Schein: Tannehill, Dolphins are for real
That's right: Ryan Tannehill, franchise quarterback. Get used it. And get used to the winning going on in South Floridahttp://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...d-miami-dolphins-set-up-for-sustained-success
The smile that line brought to my face! Great article. Never mind the "don't count your chickens before they hatch" and never mind the doubters. We, for the first time in far too long, are absolute competitors and a strong threat in this league. Watching Tannehill on Sunday conduct a game winning drive against a strong team in Atlanta and watching him do nearly the same last week against the Colts made me realize what we have in store for, hopefully, quite some time. We have all fought through the ridiculous times and more than any team in this league, we deserve prosperity.
Also, it makes me laugh to think about our recent game scenarios with Henne at the helm hahaha second to last drive against the Colts down by three, three and out, last drive pick to lose the game. 3 minutes down by four against the Falcons, you can bet, with about 90% certainty, that Henne goes incomplete 3 times in a row and throws a pick on 4th down. and THAT is the biggest difference maker among all.JShady likes this. -
I don't think we're competitors yet. Competitors for the division title sure... but are we better than a healthy Houston, Denver, Ravens or even Cincinnati team? I'm not sure about that yet. Our offense is too sloppy and inconsistent. It's definitely not ready for the playoff stage yet but hopefully it evolves by the time we get to that point. I definitely think the Bengals are better than us at this point. That defense is very underrated, and their offense is running better than ours in my opinion.

I believe this is the third time this article has been posted now lol

No doubt. Tannehill does not make dumb throws, and plays within his comfort zone and the offense. Dude is money.
