So far, head coach Tony Sparano likes what he sees out of Wake through three weeks of training camp, calling Wake "very efficient" in point-of-attack runs and "more natural" in coverage.
"This guy, the light is starting to go on," Sparano said. "Now what I don't know is when we get into the games and all of a sudden there's these formations and motions coming at you a little bit faster, how that will translate with Cameron."
Which is why Wake will likely get plenty of playing time again Saturday night .
"I want to be a guy who's counted on, and I accept that challenge," Wake said. "My goal is to get better, show the coaching staff and players that I'm improving every day, and I want to be The Guy."
