    hmmmm....

My question would be who analyzed the plays and how did they go about assessing blame for sacks allowed to each player.

This type of stat is a much more in depth process to determine than simply watching tape. You have to really know responsibilities on certain plays and know whose responsible for who during plays where there may be blitzes or defensive stunts.

Even if you factor the 3.5 less games he still comes out better as a pass blocker and we all know he's the better run blocker.

I don't really think this tells the whole story. Our RG got beat up all year, and when you look at these numbers it looks like the RG spot was a strength.

The interior line in general got a nice beatdown....but your right the RG was abused.

We have added some nice depth on the interior im excited about not having to be on pins and needles if a guy goes down.

Definitely. And you'd have to account for a QB holding the ball too long or getting out of trouble (i.e. Roesthlisberger, imagine the sack totals there if he couldn't get out of the pocket once in a while). Pretty sure even the best can't last past 5-Mississippi all the time. You look at a team like the Broncos' Clady. Good LT no doubt but Cutler's quick slinging sure helps.
