The Raiders continue their lineup changes by replacing WR Ronald Curry with rookie Chaz Schillens. Schillens is a guy that I actually like that the Raiders drafted. The Raiders got him in the seventh round, he slipped because of his foot injury I believe. He's 6'4, 210, 43 inch vertical and runs a 4.4 forty. He impressed in camp from what I heard and now is getting his shot. He had 14 receptions for 280 yards in his final two college games, against BYU and TCU.
I thought this guy was going to be a really good player, The U produces good to great Safeties, I have to wonder if Al Davis just is crushing the players with his wackiness?
Padre, I believe you may have mixed up Michael Huff with someone else. He's from Texas. Either way, what a disappointment. He was moved to FS in camp I believe and I thought he'd excel there but that didn't work out. I was high on him as well.
Just about everyone was. He was supposed to be the next great safety after guys like Polamalu, Reed and Taylor. Sad he hasnt panned out at all. That statement shows a lack of desire to me. Kind of an "Oh well, I did my best, guess I just need to accept it" thing. Maybe just the way he phrased it, or maybe it shows part of the reason he isnt making the impact many thought he would.
there was a Huff that played for the U but I can't think of what his name is off the top of my head...
dear....i have less than 4k....you have 22k. wanna throw down? i have no problem knocking a child out.
