Perhaps he can take this year off and erase the whole butt fumble thing. Nacho was a successful Qb for the Jets, they won playoff games with him.
They sure did and he played well in most of them. It's a shame he never had a decent coach to help him in the NFL level.
Well, to me once the league found out he really could not take a pounding and the Jets OL slipped in quality, no one helped him to adjust to it. Started playing scared
I never really saw that. In fact, the one thing he did well was take a beating and not get seriously hurt.
If I were a Jets fan I'd be embarrassed every time the camera flipps to him on the sideline wearing that ridiculous headband.
Sanchez has already showed you his ceiling, it's not good enough, not accurate enough, not strong enough arm, not good enough leader, not nearly good enough.
Just enough to win those road playoff games and get them to an AFC championship game, but not win it. Close, but no cigar. Now Geno..... Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk now Free
two different things. taking a beating and not getting seriously hurt versus taking a beating and not playing with confidence (playing scared).
I rarely saw that out of Sanchez, except when their line was so bad and he was literally getting gang raped the second the ball was snapped. But most QB's would play the same way under those circumstances. Look - I'm no Sanchez apologist. He doesn't have a great arm and his accuracy sucks. But I thought he held up well under some tough circumstances. I still think he could be effective given the proper coaching and the right circumstances. I wish him well.
