New York Daily News writer Rich Cimini reports Sanchez will undergo surgery within the next two or three weeks to stabilize the patella ligament in Sanchez's left knee, an issue that has bothered him since he was at USC and was aggravated in a Nov. 15 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Cimini reports the arthroscopic procedure would mean about two months of rehab. The Jets expect Sanchez to be ready in time for training camp, but he would miss at least a month of the offseason program.
