I`m starting to think Ross was going to keep Sparano all along. He just went through all the motions to try and satisfy all the people who said they`re giving up on the Dolphins unless a change is made.( season ticket holders, marketing sales etc. )

Come on man! He met with Harbaugh at the Orange Bowl this was a last ditch effort to get Harbaugh from 49ers. Something with us never set right with Harbaugh from the first impression. Jeff Ireland and judging from reports from the presser Tony is done with him too!

Chemistry is overrated. They could spit on each other and if the result is winning count me in with a hocker or 2. Ireland needs to bring in talent. Sparano needs to have the right coaching staff in place, coach better on game day, and milk the players for every ounce they have. Ross needs to step aside and let them do their jobs and only get involved if it's failing.

A good Offensive Co-Ordinator that can teach Sparano the art of clock management as well would help.

 

No that is the reason Cowher wouldn't talk to us and most probably the reason Harbaugh got cold feet! Never does a owner do what Ross just did! If you are happy with Sparano fine have at it! I am not the guy is a glorified oline coach and continues to find himself in a position of failure! From having his play calling duties stripped from in Dallas to his back to back 7-9 seasons in Miami, 1-7 at home. All this accomplished is giving the Dolphins a black eye and when Ross finally does the right thing and rids us of these 2 clowns, no up and coming HC will come near us!

I'd feel a LOT better if he were a little more certain about this statement. We'll see how serious he is about it based on the FA and draft picks we bring in.

 

What matters is what goes down on the field. The team did not care during the week 17 game. I'm glad they're rallying behind him now but as of a week ago they weren't behind him because they almost got him fired.

 

So straight from the horses mouth! Be a man admit you wanted to replace him Ross! Admit you went about it wrong and candidates told you NO! Now you are stuck with who you didn't want and the franchise and fans suffer! Mean while when you finally grow the balls to fire them Sparano gets 6 extra million!
