While I was BBQing yesterday, you and your mother crossed my mind. I hope and pray that the procedure works, and she fully recovers. It breaks my heart to think of good people going through times like this when they deserve so much more. Continued prayers on the way to all of you.
Your family is in my family's thoughts, l2g. Hang in there and tell momma to do the same. gb (from over at JN)
Like 2 is there any update ? I will be giving Father Alex a prayer request for your Mom and family this morning at Church.
Mike has been busy at the hospital bro. He said he will give an update as soon as he can. He feels that he should be with her as much as possible. Mike appreciates everyone's prayers, thoughts, and support. It means an awful lot to him. Thanks, John
Prayers and thoughts are with you at this trying time. Life is a lot more than football, and even the ugliest of rivalries holds no place in the time of need. Stay positive, good things will happen. James from JN.
Glad to hear that. In tough times its always nice to have some support and its nice to see that all the well wishes are making him feel a little better during this time. Once again I would like to send all of my well wishes along to like2, his family, and mom.
Like others here I am from JN. I wish you all the best during this tough time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

She'll be in my prayers, man. I hope all is well and the update we hear from you is good news. You just have to keep hope alive and leave everything in God's hands.
I was thinking of you and your moms today bro. Hope you and yours are doing as well as possible. Keep your head up bro.....
Mike, I'm sorry I havn't been on in a while. I hope all is getting better for your mom. We talked about her about a month ago and hearing this news from John just tonight just saddened my day. I lost my mom at an early age, hopefully you won't have to feel that pain for a while. Best of luck my friend and I will keep you and your mother in my thoughts. Joe and the JetNation.com Crew.
Its not an easy time, a friend from town (50 years young) lost his wife to cancer yesterday. (I'm still in shock). She was such a young and vibrant women, very religious and did tons of volunteer work for the church and homeless. You cherish the moments you have with your loved ones, you never know how long it will be. Your mom is still in my prayers Mike!
Very sorry to hear about your friends loss. Wish the families the best. Mike, we're still praying for you brother.
Just after 6pm tonight our mother passed away. We spent every day with her and today was no different. She had been in a sedated state for the past week or two because she was so weak and she was suffering the effects of several infections and it just took it's toll on her. Today was different though, she had her eyes open all day and we just talked to her and told her we loved her. At 6pm they asked us to leave as they always have because the nurses do their shift change and do their reports, so my oldest sister and I went a few miles down the road to watch my niece do her gymnastics class. Not long after that we got the phone call to come back to the hospital because they ere doing CPR on our mother. It all happened so fast, but by the time we got back she was gone and in peace. I really believe that she waited for us to leave before she left so we wouldn't see the nurses rushing into the room and all of the buzzers and commotion. She is a great woman who raised 4 kids on her own and a woman who spent her entire life sacrificing everything she had to make sure that we had what we needed and most of what we wanted. I can't thank her enough for everything that she's taught me and instilled in me, she really is the greatest woman that I've ever known. So thank you so much for all of the kind words and prayers, they really meant alot to me when I came home after a long emotional day and needed some happiness, comfort and encouragement. You all have a special place in my heart and I can't thank you enough. Mike
I'm very sorry to hear Mike. Your mother seemed like a great great person. Wish you and the rest of the family the best. We will always be by your side. Brother Alen
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Mike. You take care of yourself and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.
Mike, so sorry to hear of your loss. May you always find comfort in your memories of her, and rest assured, the last images you have of her will be in life, not in death. Just remember that she is in a much better place, where pain and suffering don't exist, and life is comforting, not the struggle we see on this earth. The next week or so will be full of tears and struggles, and for that, I truly feel sorry for you. It will be a time for many reflections of your life, and how much better they were because of your mom. May she have eternal rest, and may the rest of you find great peace in her memory.
I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I can only hope you all will have the strength to endure as I once had when my father passed away last year. At least I hope it should be in small comfort that you all managed to have the chance to be with her one last time. Hang in there and we're always here for you. Even Griddlecakes.
