The Dolphins season schedule will be released on Monday. We know the Jets host a MNF game week 1 and a Thanksgiving game.

There's a chance the Dolphins could play in one of those, but that would mean the Dolphins would have to have 2 away games in a row to start the season because of the Marlins. The NFL likes to have rivals play in the back-to-back MNF games in week 1, with East coast teams in the first game. The Jets could also play the Pats, but the Dolphins-Jets games the past 2 years have all been memorable.

I don't really want to play a rival on Thanksgiving on the road. Travelling on a short week sucks. Unless it's after a bye week.

Will be going down for when they play the Browns, my best buddy is a Browns fan and lives in Hollywood and would be great to see them play, just hope it don't fall on either he Thanksgiving or Christmas weekend, that would screw everything up.

Would that thanksgiving game be the NFLN late game? I thought they always picked a game that was out west.

I think it's the opening day prime time games and Thanksgiving games that are announced, not the entire schedule. I could be wrong though.

I think you're right. They get announced at the league meetings which is this weekend. I thought it was weird that the entire schedule would come out in March.

the ravens, browns, steelers, bengals, titans, raiders.....

    so yeah......**** me.

jets, pats, bengals, ravens, vikings were all playoff teams. titans, steelers, chicago all have gotten better.

Maybe..the Bears hamstrung themselves with Cutler, Favre has to do it again, the Bengals had one good yr after several poor ones, the raiders..are you kidding me?

And Detroit? Would you rather play Detroit and Cleveland or Atlanta and NO?

are you serious? how can you complain with a schedule that features the Bills (twice), Browns, Lions, and Raiders? That's 5 gimmies. If we win 6 of the remaining 11, we're 11-5.

lmfao "gimmes" you mean the bills that beat us with ryan fitzpatrick? or the raiders we needed a last second FG to beat 2 years ago? and didnt the browns beat the steelers we lost to last season?

i love how people act like the dolphins are some top tier team. we were a pathetic 7-9, we choked on a huge dick to end the season......i dont think we have any right to call anyone a "gimme" its the nfl, not pop warner.

Raiders have gotten worse, that yr their Defense was upper tier in the NFL with Rob Ryan running it, and the Brownies beat the steelers in -20 degree weather, Big Ben couldn't pass the ball.

Besides, Big Ben may not be on the field...:shifty:

    Top tier?

Nah, our schedule was brutal last yr, the Bears and Lions vs Atlanta and NOLA?

    The Brownies or San Diego?

Titans struggled just as much as we did in 09.

Henne's 3 int's in the last 3 minutes pretty much sank that game Killahp, say what one will about Dick Jauron, that dude's secondary was always ballhawking.

That game also knocked the heart out of the team a little bit.

Eh, start a newbie Qb, there will be lumps and bumps.

Ricky should have known not to throw that though... I guess that it shows the importance of having Ronnie if you'd like to run the Wildcat successfully.

Sick made a typo, he meant to say thirty more seconds and Jake would have thrown an interception and crushed Panther fans once again. The Steve Smith catch and last drive happened on the end-zone I was sitting at, fun game.

I believe making all this "standing pat" the Dolphins are doing almost suicidal for the Triumvirate in charge. Another season like 6-10 and 7-9 means that Carl Petersen will be in Steven Ross' ear about how he could do a better job than Parcells and his minions.

And Steven Ross may be stupid enough to believe him. Remember we have had a billionaire owner before that was dumb enough to listen to Jimmy Johnson, and bring in Wanny the loser and start this present era of unprecidented Dolphins mediocrity.

I know Parcells and his boys believe they can out-draft anyone, and just need a couple of more drafts to get there. But I am not sure, given the circumstance that Carl Petersen is looming over the Ross-mans shoulder, will give them the luxury of time.

I see more turbulence in the future of the Miami Dolphins front office. Stay tuned for the fireworks. :pity:

Yeah, I really hate the Thursday games. Last year, they finally came close enough for me to go see a game (at Carolina), which is actually rather rare. I really wanted to take my son to the game. But with the game on a Thursday night, I couldn't take him due to school and work issues.

This year, there's a game at Baltimore that I'm going to try and go to. Hopefully it will fall on a regular Sunday.

Oh so it's only the Thanksgiving games and the MNF double header that comes out on Monday?? Or all MNF games?

Either way, Dolphins could still be in one of those games. And about the difficulty of the schedule, you never know what is going to happen to any teams. The Dolphins could improve greatly, as could any other team. Or play like crap. It's hard to just go off of 2009.

Yet no one on this board seems to want to address this....its ignored, and I think its a huge deal. I do not want Carl Petersen in charge of the Dolphins, but that gut feeling is that its gonna happen, and sooner than people think.

It make me want to :puke: and then
