Limiting big plays will again be a point of emphasis for a Dolphins secondary that has been riddled by big-gainers for much of the season. ____________________
Against the Patriots last week, that included three of the six longest plays — run or pass — against them all season: a pair of 58-yard pass plays to Randy Moss (touchdown) and Wes Welker, and an 81-yard touchdown pass to journeyman Sam Aiken early in the third quarter.
Keep in mind the Dolphins were trying to double-team Moss for much of the game, holding him to no catches over the final 50:35.
