Says reggie to Miami for Amaya and a swap of undisclosed draft picks.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "swap" usually indicate that the picks are within the same round? It's usually used in the sense of "they swapped 3rd round picks" not in the sense of "XY swapped their 1st for Z's 3rd". Or am I wrong? Damn you, native speakers.

No ,typically they use that phrase for trading draft picks in any round. So NO could say , we swapped our 6th for their 5th ....not sure if we/they did mind you , but that terminolgy would fit. -
what was Amaya's cap hit?

I think they are undisclosed because they wont know the order until the draft...so in this case i think swap means with in the same round
